After moving to Allendale in 2024, I noticed that several of my neighbors needed help walking their dogs. That gave me the idea to start my own dog-walking service. 

I made my own ads and shared them around my neighborhood. I set a price for my service and added a note that, “Tips are kindly appreciated.” This turned out to be a great idea because I always tried to give excellent service, and most of my neighbors would give me an extra tip.

The response was amazing, and I was able to earn and save enough money to buy the e-bike and helmet I really wanted. This was my first of what I expect to be many businesses that I plan to start and run in my lifetime.
